Currently I have two non-anime/manga and non-personal websites. Paramparça is a site dedicated to my personal translations of lyrics of various Turkish pop songs. This website, Drawing Crazy Patterns, has also had its own share of different layouts and designs, and is another one of my PHP experiments. Every once in a while I may also work on a random website project that would fall under this category. |

Drawing Crazy Patterns
Version 3.0 - Rustic Circles
As opposed to Version 2.0 of Drawing Crazy Patterns, I love this layout. I really like the color scheme of red and black on light gray, and I played around with a bunch of Photoshop brushes to create the header. With this layout, I moved the entire design archive into a PHP/MySQL database, and added a 5-star rating system to each design, just for kicks. This was one of my most complex PHP experiments to date.

Earp Cohn P.C.
This is the website I designed for a law firm employer. It was truly my first professional website, so: 1) I had to make it more functional and accessible than my other artsy designs; and 2) I worked with the needs of many different people, instead of doing whatever I felt like. The end result was bright, clean, streamlined, and also my first time doing many complicated new coding experiments. I combined mouseover and on-click javascript functions, while at the same time working with a drop-down menu javascript function, to work together on the same images (which was way harder than it sounds); I used much more advanced CSS attributes, including layers; I installed a self-sufficient search engine; and I customized an automated printer friendly option that worked on each page. I was very happy with the way this website turned out.

Paramparça
Version 3.0 - Nilüfer Edition
This was a non-frames layout featuring an album photo of Nilüfer. I really liked this layout; I enjoyed the colors, and the text area was easy to read and easy to format.

Paramparça
Version 2.0 - Musical Notes
I actually completely forgot about this layout until I went through my archive of designs. I did not like this layout very much; I wanted to do something that did not involve a white background, but I think the orange was too much. I scanned in one of my piano music sheets to get the notes at the top.

Drawing Crazy Patterns
Version 2.0 - Pinstripe
I absolutely hated this layout; I hated the frames, I hated the manga image on the left. Regardless, it stayed up on the main page of Drawing Crazy Patterns for over six years, not for a lack of trying to replace it with something else, but because I had a serious designer's block when it came to presenting the content of this website. It took me forever before I finally created something much better for Version 3.0.

Paramparça
Version 1.0 - Cool & Crisp
This was the first layout for Paramparça, featuring a wintry photograph of Tarkan, naturally. Each of the four squares on the main page linked to other parts of the site, and when moused over, turned green and revealed the name/section and description of the linked section. Each sub-page had a different image of Tarkan, and although they were laid out and styled differently than the main page, they all stuck with the mouseover squares theme.

Drawing Crazy Patterns
Version 1.0 - Pink Asuka
This Asuka layout had been up ever since I created Drawing Crazy Patterns, my design archive. It was one of the first frames pages I ever made and it remained up for more than a year. There was nothing special about it, but it was practical.
